What does a Bay of Fires tour include?

Where is the Bay of Fires?
It’s at the northern end of the Great Eastern Drive, running from Binalong Bay in the south up to Eddystone Point. The town of St Helens is the natural base, a short drive from Binalong Bay.
Why are the rocks orange?
The colour comes from a hardy orange lichen growing on the granite boulders. The name “Bay of Fires” actually came from a navigator who saw Aboriginal fires along the coast — not the rocks.
Can you swim on the tour?
There are calm, sheltered spots for a swim near Binalong Bay, though the water is cool and beaches are generally unpatrolled, so take care. See more east-coast beaches.
