What is the main airport for Victoria?

How do you get from Sydney or Adelaide to Victoria?
By air (about 1.5 hours from either), or by road — the Hume Freeway from Sydney is roughly a 9-hour drive, and Adelaide to Melbourne is around 8 hours inland, or longer and far prettier via the Great Ocean Road.
Can you get to Victoria by train?
Yes — interstate services run from Sydney and (less frequently) Adelaide, and V/Line regional trains and coaches reach much of the state from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station. Check current timetables.
