This is Victoria’s hiking heartland, with lookouts like the Pinnacle, the cascades of MacKenzie Falls, the country’s richest concentration of Aboriginal rock art, and kangaroos grazing the streets of Halls Gap at dusk. About three hours from Melbourne, they’re a natural partner to the Great Ocean Road.
