How do you get to MONA?
The classic way is by ferry up the Derwent from Brooke St Pier on the waterfront — part of the fun — and we can build that into the day. MONA sits at Berriedale, a short drive north of the city centre.
Is MONA open every day?
No — MONA is closed on some weekdays, and days can change around events like Dark Mofo and Mona Foma. We check current opening days when we plan your tour, so the visit lands on a day it’s open.
Can you combine MONA with kunanyi?
Yes — a full day can pair MONA with the summit of kunanyi / Mount Wellington and the Salamanca waterfront. The mountain makes its own weather, so we time the summit for the best conditions on the day.
