A Day of Wildlife

Phillip Island Wildlife Tour

Phillip Island is one of Australia’s great wildlife days out, and this guided tour ties it together — wild koalas in the treetops, fur seals at the Nobbies (with an optional Seal Rocks cruise), the chance of whales offshore in season, and the dusk Penguin Parade to finish. We handle the driving, timing and bookings so you can focus on the animals. Family-run since 1974, tailored to your group and quoted per enquiry.

Wildlife Tour — FAQ

What does a Phillip Island wildlife tour include?

A guided day focused on the island’s wildlife — wild koalas, the fur seals at the Nobbies & Seal Rocks, and the dusk Penguin Parade — with an optional Seal Rocks cruise. Tailored and quoted per enquiry — get in touch.

Can we get close to the fur seals?

Yes — we can include a seasonal Seal Rocks wildlife cruise from Cowes to see Australia’s largest fur-seal colony up close (weather-dependent, operator-run). Otherwise the Nobbies boardwalks give distant views — bring binoculars.

Can you see whales on the tour?

In winter and spring (roughly May–October) whales sometimes pass offshore — sightings vary and aren’t guaranteed. See our wildlife calendar.

Is the wildlife tour good for families?

Very — koalas, seals and penguins in one day are a hit with children. We pace the day to suit your group.

Does it include the Penguin Parade?

Yes — the dusk Penguin Parade is the natural finale, with the timing and booking handled.
