Cooee Tours has been running touring holidays and day trips out of Brisbane since 1974. In that time the way travellers check out an operator has changed completely — and the honest position is that a page of hand-picked quotes on a company's own website is close to worthless as evidence. We choose what goes on it. We can take anything down. Nobody can audit it.
So this page does something different. Rather than assemble a wall of five-star quotes, it points you at the platforms that actually hold our reviews, where the rating is computed by someone other than us, the count is current, and the critical reviews sit alongside the good ones whether we like it or not.
We deliberately don't publish an average star rating or a total review count on this page. Those figures move, and a number typed into a web page in one month and left there is misleading by the next. Check them at the source — the links below go straight to our live profiles.
What we do with feedback
Feedback that names something specific is the kind we can act on. Over the years, guest comments have driven changes to pick-up timing on early departures, the length of comfort stops on long transfers, how far in advance we confirm mobility requirements, and which lunch stops we keep on an itinerary. Vague praise is lovely to read; specifics are what change how we operate.
What makes a review useful to other travellers
- The tour you took and roughly when — seasons change the experience considerably in Queensland.
- Who you travelled with: a family, a seniors' group, a couple, a corporate group. Fit matters more than a star rating.
- Anything specific about access, pacing or comfort, if that was relevant to you.
- What didn't work, if something didn't. It's more useful than a rounded-up rating, and we'd rather know.
Where Our Reviews Live
Each of these is a third-party platform. The ratings and review counts you see there are theirs, not ours.
Our Google Business Profile holds the largest share of our reviews and shows the live average. It's also the fastest place to leave one — no account setup beyond a Google login.

Questions About Our Reviews
Where can I read reviews of Cooee Tours?
On the third-party platforms where guests leave them — our Google Business Profile, TripAdvisor and Facebook. We link to all three above. Those platforms hold the reviews themselves, so the rating and the review count you see there are always current, which is not something a page on our own site can promise.
How do I leave a review after my tour?
Search for Cooee Tours on Google and choose "Write a review", or use the TripAdvisor and Facebook links above. You don't need to have booked through any particular channel. A few sentences naming the tour, the date and what stood out is far more useful to other travellers than a star rating on its own.
What if something went wrong on my tour?
Contact us directly on 0409 661 342 or at contact@cooeetours.com.au. We'd rather hear about it and have the chance to put it right. That doesn't replace your right to leave a public review, and we won't ask you to take one down.
Do you respond to negative reviews?
Yes. We aim to reply to reviews on Google and TripAdvisor whether they're positive or critical, and to say what we've changed where something needed changing. A response that only ever appears under the five-star reviews tells you nothing.
Do you offer anything in exchange for a review?
No. We don't pay for reviews, offer discounts or prize-draw entries in exchange for them, or ask guests to leave a particular rating. Incentivised reviews breach the terms of both Google and TripAdvisor, and they'd make the feedback worthless to everyone reading it — including us.
