Rottnest Tour — FAQ

What does a Rottnest Island tour include?

We arrange your Rottnest Island day — ferry transfers from Perth or Fremantle, island admission, and options like a guided island tour, bike hire or a settlement visit — built around your group. Tailored and quoted per enquiry — get in touch.

Where does the ferry leave from?

Ferries run from Fremantle (shortest crossing), Perth’s Barrack Street Jetty and Hillarys Boat Harbour. We’ll advise the best option for where you’re staying and confirm current timetables.

Will we see quokkas?

Almost certainly — quokkas roam the island, especially around the main settlement. Please look but never touch or feed them; it harms them and can incur fines.

Can we cycle or is there a bus?

Both — the island is car-free, so you can hire bikes or use the hop-on-hop-off Island Explorer bus. We’ll set it up to suit your group’s energy and mobility.

How much does it cost?

Because it’s tailored (ferry, admission and any extras) to your group and dates, we quote per enquiry rather than list fixed prices. Tell us your plans for a quote.
