How far in advance should I book?
We recommend 2-4 weeks in advance, especially for peak seasons (March-May, September-November) and weekends. For exclusive winery access and winemaker meetings (e.g. Henschke's Hill of Grace Experience, Penfolds Ultimate Experience), 4-6 weeks is ideal. Contact us to check availability.
What's included in the price?
All private tours include: luxury vehicle with professional sommelier-guide, all tasting fees, gourmet lunch with wine pairings (full-day), hotel pickup and drop-off, bottled water, and GST. The only extras are personal wine purchases and gratuities (optional).
Can we customise our winery selection?
That's the whole point of private. Share your preferences — grape varieties, winery styles, must-visit names — and we'll design the perfect itinerary. Or trust our sommelier to curate hidden gems tailored to your palate.
What group sizes can you accommodate?
Private tours: 2-6 guests in luxury sedans/SUVs. Larger groups (7-20+) in premium minibuses or multiple vehicles. For groups of 8+, our group wine tour packages offer better per-person value.
What's the cancellation policy?
50% deposit at booking. Full refund for cancellations 7+ days before. 50% refund for 3-7 days. Within 72 hours forfeits deposit. Flexible rescheduling for weather or unforeseen circumstances. ATAS-accredited consumer protection applies to every booking. See our full terms and conditions.

Yes. Most wineries offer exclusive discounts for our guests. We arrange secure storage in the vehicle and, through our Cooee Wine concierge service, organise shipping to your hotel, interstate, or internationally. Many guests buy cellar-door-only releases not available elsewhere — Cooee Wine continues sourcing these for you long after the tour.

What about responsible service of alcohol?
All Cooee Tours sommelier-guides hold valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification. Our partner wineries also operate under RSA standards. We reserve the right to discontinue tastings for any guest showing signs of intoxication, in the interest of their safety and the group's enjoyment. Food is provided to support responsible tasting.
