From the fourth quarter of 2026, Australians will need an approved ETIAS before Schengen travel — around €20, linked to your passport, valid three years. Visa-free 90/180 stays are unchanged. Apply only through the official EU portal when it opens.
Separate from ETIAS and already enforced. Since 25 February 2026, Australians need an approved UK ETA to board for Britain — GBP 20, valid two years. Apply only through the official UK ETA app or GOV.UK. A London-and-Paris trip needs both.
