Tips for Touring Queensland
Our guides share what to know before you go — from packing to timing to local hidden gems.
Best Time to Visit
April–October is the sweet spot for most Queensland tours — mild temperatures, low humidity, and clear skies. The Granite Belt is best in autumn (March–May) for grape harvest and autumn foliage.
What to Wear
Comfortable walking shoes are essential for all tours. Layers for hinterland and mountain destinations (cooler than the coast, especially in winter). Sunscreen and a hat are a must year-round.
Best Photo Spots
Cedar Creek Falls and the Gallery Walk at Tamborine, Curtis Falls at Tamborine NP, Natural Bridge at Springbrook, Noosa National Park coastal track, and any Granite Belt vineyard at golden hour.
Accessibility
Many of our destinations include accessible facilities — paved boardwalks, flat lookouts, accessible restrooms, and wheelchair-friendly cellar doors. Ask us when booking about specific requirements.
