Booking conditions for all Cooee Tours services — day tours, multi-day holidays, private charters, and group transport.

1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions ("booking conditions") form the basis of your contract with Waggie Group Pty Ltd, trading as Cooee Tours ("Cooee Tours", "we", "us", or "our"). By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read and agree to these conditions.

Cooee Tours is a Brisbane-based tour operator offering day tours, multi-day touring holidays, private charters, group transport, and accessible travel services. Our services operate primarily across Queensland, New South Wales, and other Australian destinations, with select tours to New Zealand and international destinations.

These terms apply to all bookings made directly with Cooee Tours or through our booking platform at cooeetours.rezdy.com.

2. Booking & Payment

How to Book

Bookings can be made online through our Rezdy booking platform, by phone on +61 409 661 342, or by email at bookings@cooeetours.com.au. A booking is confirmed once we issue a confirmation email or invoice and payment has been received.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.

Day Tours

Full payment is required at the time of booking for all day tours. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Multi-Day Tours

A deposit is required at the time of booking for multi-day tours. The deposit amount will be stated on the tour listing or advised at the time of booking. The balance of the tour price is due no later than the date specified on your invoice (typically 60 days before departure). If the balance is not paid by the due date, Cooee Tours reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Private Charters & Group Bookings

A deposit is required to secure private charter and group bookings. Terms, deposit amounts, and payment schedules will be outlined in your charter agreement or quote. Final numbers and any dietary or accessibility requirements are typically required 14 days before the event.

Payment Methods

We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), debit card, direct bank transfer, and through our online booking platform. A credit card surcharge of up to 2% may apply. The surcharge amount will be advised at the time of payment.

3. Pricing

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Prices are as listed on our website or booking platform at the time of booking.

Tour prices include the services specified in the tour description (e.g., coach transport, guide services, entry fees where listed, meals where listed). Items not specifically listed as included are not included.

Cooee Tours reserves the right to adjust pricing for tours not yet paid in full, due to significant increases in operating costs, government taxes, or fuel surcharges. If a price increase exceeds 10% of the original quoted price, you may cancel your booking and receive a full refund of any monies paid.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by You

All cancellation requests must be made in writing (by email to bookings@cooeetours.com.au). Cancellations are effective from the date the written notice is received by Cooee Tours.

There is no refund for unused services, late arrivals, or early departures once a tour has commenced.

Private charters and group bookings may have separate cancellation terms as outlined in your charter agreement.

Cancellation by Cooee Tours

Cooee Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour if minimum numbers are not met, or for safety or operational reasons. If we cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid, or the option to transfer to an alternative tour date or tour of equal value. Cooee Tours is not liable for any additional costs you may have incurred (e.g., accommodation, travel to pick-up points) in connection with a cancelled tour.

5. Changes to Your Booking

If you wish to change your booking (e.g., transfer to a different date or tour), please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability. An administration fee may apply for changes made within 14 days of departure.

Name changes and transfers to other people may be possible but must be requested in writing. Any price difference between the original and new booking will be charged or refunded accordingly.

6. Changes by Cooee Tours

We plan our tours carefully, but occasionally changes are necessary. We reserve the right to alter tour itineraries, pick-up times, vehicles, guides, or other tour details due to operational requirements, road conditions, weather, or other factors. We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as practicable.

Minor changes (e.g., slight timing adjustments, venue substitutions of equivalent quality) do not entitle you to a refund or cancellation.

7. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in any Cooee Tours booking. We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance, particularly for multi-day tours and holidays. Your insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, and loss of luggage.

Cooee Tours is not an insurance provider and cannot arrange insurance on your behalf. We recommend you compare policies from licensed Australian insurers. See our travel insurance information page for guidance.

8. Health, Mobility & Fitness

Most Cooee Tours are suitable for guests of all fitness levels, including seniors and those with moderate mobility limitations. However, some tours involve walking, standing, or boarding/alighting coaches, and a reasonable level of mobility may be required.

It is your responsibility to advise Cooee Tours of any pre-existing medical conditions, mobility limitations, dietary requirements, or other health concerns that may affect your ability to participate in the tour or that may affect other passengers. Please advise us at the time of booking so we can assess whether the tour is suitable and make any reasonable adjustments.

If you fail to disclose a relevant condition and are unable to participate in the tour (or part of it) as a result, no refund will be provided for unused services.

9. Passengers With Disabilities

Cooee Tours is committed to accessible travel. Many of our coaches are equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts, and our team is trained to assist guests with disabilities and mobility needs.

Please advise us of any accessibility requirements at the time of booking so we can allocate an appropriate vehicle and ensure your guide is prepared. For full details on our accessibility services, visit our accessibility page.

While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate guests with disabilities, we cannot guarantee accessibility at all third-party venues, attractions, or rest stops visited during tours.

10. Travelling With Children

Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on all tours. The accompanying adult is responsible for the child's behaviour and supervision at all times.

Some tours may not be suitable for young children. Please check the tour description or contact us before booking if you are unsure.

11. Passenger Conduct

We want every guest to enjoy their tour. Cooee Tours reserves the right to refuse boarding or remove any passenger from a tour whose behaviour is disruptive, offensive, or dangerous to themselves or other guests. This includes, but is not limited to, intoxication, verbal abuse, and harassment.

If you are removed from a tour due to unacceptable conduct, no refund will be provided.

12. Responsible Service of Alcohol

Where alcohol is served on tours (e.g., wine tours, tours with included meals), our staff are trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and are required by law to refuse service to any person who is intoxicated or behaves in an aggressive or offensive manner.

13. Luggage

Day tours: Please bring only what you need for the day — a small bag or backpack is recommended. Large luggage cannot be accommodated on day tours.

Multi-day tours: Each guest is permitted one suitcase (maximum 20 kg) and one piece of hand luggage. Luggage size and weight limits may vary by vehicle — please check your tour confirmation for specific limits.

Cooee Tours is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings. We recommend you do not bring valuables and that you ensure your travel insurance covers personal effects.

14. Itinerary Changes

Published itineraries are intended as a guide and may be altered without notice due to road conditions, weather, traffic, venue closures, or other operational factors. Cooee Tours will endeavour to provide an experience of equivalent quality if changes are necessary.

Pick-up and drop-off times are approximate and may vary depending on traffic and conditions. Please allow flexibility in your plans, particularly if you have onward travel connections.

15. Force Majeure

"Force majeure" means any event beyond the reasonable control of Cooee Tours that could not have been reasonably prevented, including but not limited to: natural disasters (flood, fire, earthquake, severe weather), pandemic or epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, industrial action, government restrictions, road closures, or significant mechanical breakdown.

If a tour is cancelled or significantly altered due to a force majeure event, Cooee Tours will offer you a credit for a future tour or a refund less any unrecoverable third-party costs already incurred. Cooee Tours is not liable for any additional costs, losses, or damages arising from a force majeure event.

16. Limitation of Liability

Cooee Tours uses independent suppliers (including venues, attractions, restaurants, and accommodation providers) who are not employees or agents of Cooee Tours. While we take care in selecting suppliers, we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or the quality of their services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cooee Tours' liability for any claim arising from or in connection with a tour is limited to the tour price paid by you. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010, Schedule 2) that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

Cooee Tours is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, loss of opportunity, or additional travel costs.

17. Privacy & Data

Personal information collected during the booking process is used to provide tour services, communicate with you about your booking, and comply with legal obligations. We may share your information with third-party suppliers where necessary to deliver your tour.

We will not share your personal information for marketing purposes without your consent. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us.

18. Complaints

If you experience a problem during your tour, please raise it with your guide or driver immediately so we can attempt to resolve it on the spot. If you remain dissatisfied, please submit a written complaint to bookings@cooeetours.com.au within 30 days of the tour. We take all feedback seriously and will respond as promptly as possible.

19. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

These terms were last updated in February 2026. Cooee Tours reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to your booking.
