How It Works
Cooking classes are not part of our scheduled day-tour programme — they're available as a private group experience by arrangement. You enquire, we design a bespoke itinerary that combines a hands-on cooking session with other Sunshine Coast highlights, and we provide the transport and guide for the full day.
We partner with established hinterland cooking schools and chefs who specialise in seasonal, locally sourced menus. Sessions typically run 2–3 hours and involve preparing and sharing a multi-course meal using produce from local farms and markets.
Sample Day Ideas
Every private cooking experience is built around your group's interests. Here are some examples of how a day might come together.
Market-to-Table
Morning at Eumundi Markets sourcing ingredients, then a hands-on cooking session at a hinterland kitchen using what you've bought. Finish with a shared meal overlooking the range.
Hinterland Produce Day
Visit a Maleny cheese producer, pick up local honey and seasonal fruit, then cook a hinterland-inspired lunch with a local chef. Afternoon village time in Montville.
Corporate Team Building
A cooking challenge using local ingredients, facilitated by a professional chef. Works well for team-building groups of 6–12. Combine with a scenic hinterland drive and morning tea at a lookout.
