Discover the very best of Queensland's Sunshine Coast on this 6-day fully guided tour departing from Sydney. From the golden sands of Mooloolaba and Noosa Heads to the rainforest lookouts of Maleny and the artisan village of Montville, every day brings a new experience.

Meet the wildlife at Australia Zoo (home to over 1,200 animals and the legendary Crocoseum), browse the famous Eumundi Markets (600+ stalls every Wednesday and Saturday since 1979), taste your way through Yandina at the Ginger Factory and Nutworks Macadamia Factory, walk the wheelchair-accessible boardwalk at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, and dive into the underwater world at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast — all with comfortable accommodation, return flights, and entrance fees taken care of.

This is our flagship Sunshine Coast experience and the most popular tour for travellers from Sydney, Melbourne, and beyond who want the region without the planning. Group size is deliberately 6–16 (larger than our max-12 day tours) to support the flight package economics, but small enough for the personal touch that comes from Brisbane locals with 35+ years in the region.

Blackall Range geology: A 30km volcanic plateau rising to max 450m, named in 1874 after Sir Samuel Blackall (QLD Governor 1864–1871). The friable red volcanic soils support Maleny's historic dairy industry (first butter factory 1904) and a growing cluster of boutique hinterland wineries.

  • EveningOptional add-on: Spirit House Restaurant & Cooking School dinner (book in advance — one of Yandina's culinary highlights)
Eumundi heritage: Markets established 1979 in this small hinterland town. Today they span multiple precincts with handcrafted local produce, art, ceramics, leather goods, and gourmet food. The town centre retains its old timber-getting character. Itinerary day-matched to coincide with a Wed or Sat market day.

Good to Know

Fitness level

Easy. Suitable for all ages. Short walks on paved paths. The optional Noosa National Park walk is moderate (~2.5km return). Mary Cairncross 1.7km boardwalk and Boiling Pot lookout at Noosa are wheelchair-accessible.

Eumundi Markets day-matched

The famous markets run only on Wednesdays and Saturdays (7:30am–2pm, since 1979). Your itinerary day is adjusted to coincide with a market day — this is guaranteed.

Climate

Sunshine Coast has a subtropical climate. Expect warm days (22–28°C) and mild evenings most of the year. The hinterland is 5–8°C cooler than the coast — bring a light layer. Rain possible — a packable rain jacket is recommended.

Accessibility

Please advise us at booking of any mobility or accessibility requirements so we can ensure the best experience. Coach has assisted boarding, hotel has accessible rooms. Mary Cairncross and Boiling Pot are wheelchair-accessible attraction stops.

Group size

Small groups of 6–16 guests ensure a personal experience. This is larger than our max-12 day tours because the flight + hotel package economics work best with a slightly larger group, but small enough for a personal guide-to-guest ratio.

Other departure cities

Flights can be arranged from Melbourne, Brisbane (direct coach), Adelaide, Canberra, Perth, and Hobart. Brisbane departures replace flights with direct coach transfer and may include a different price tier. Pricing varies by departure city.

Most activities proceed rain or shine. If severe weather affects an outdoor activity, your guide arranges a suitable alternative — the Sunshine Coast has plenty of indoor attractions including galleries, breweries, the Eumundi Markets (mostly under cover), Maleny cheese factory tours, and SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast which is entirely indoor.

Small groups of 6–16 guests ensure a personal experience with your guide. The larger group size compared to our day tours (max 12) reflects the multi-day package economics including flight blocks. Most departures average 10–12 guests.
