How long do you need?
One day
Pick a lane — coast or hinterland, not both. A day trying to do Noosa and Montville is a day spent in the car.
Three days
Enough for the coast, one hinterland day and one wildcard — Australia Zoo, the Everglades or Eumundi on a market morning.
Five or six days
Adds the Noosa hinterland villages, a waterfall day and time to sit still, which is the point of the place.
