04 · What's included

No hidden surprises.

  • Daily breakfast plus 6 lunches/dinners as itemised
  • All entrance fees: Louvre after-hours, Versailles, Vatican, Colosseum, Uffizi, Sagrada Família, Schilthorn cable car
  • Expert local guides at every destination (not a single tour leader)

When to go: April–May and September–October are Cooee's most-recommended Europe windows — warm weather, lower hotel rates, and crowds noticeably thinner than peak July–August. Summer departures see Mediterranean heat in Rome, Florence and Lisbon (consistently 35°C+) and peak prices.

★★★★★

Eighteen days, eight countries, zero stress. The Louvre after-hours alone was worth it — we had whole rooms to ourselves. Tuscan cooking class became the trip story we still tell. Cooee got the pacing exactly right.

Solo at 62 — never felt alone for a moment. The group was warm, our local guides were exceptional, and the Schilthorn day in the Alps was breathtaking. Already booking Japan with Cooee for 2027.

07 · Frequently Asked

Specific to this tour.

Eighteen days is the right length for eight countries — but we build in two free afternoons and full free days in Florence, Barcelona and Lisbon. Average walking 6-8km/day. Mobility-aware travellers welcome; we adapt where needed. Average tour traveller age is 55-72 — manageable across that range.
We move every 1-3 nights early in the tour, but the second half (Rome, Sorrento, Barcelona, Lisbon) is 2-3 night stays each. Total 12 hotels over 18 days. Cooee porters move large bags directly between hotels — you only handle a daypack on transfer days.
Yes — about 20% of bookings are 'land only' for travellers already in Europe. Same itinerary, your own arrival/departure flights. Land-only price is the standard tour price minus a small flight credit; ask us for the specific number on enquiry.
Yes — business-class international from Brisbane is typically AU$7,500-9,500 return depending on season and carrier. We book on Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Qatar. Premium economy is a popular middle ground at AU$4,500-5,500 return.
Easy-to-moderate. The Schilthorn cable-car day involves some Alpine walking; otherwise it's mostly city walking on cobbles and stairs in old towns. Daily walking 6-8km. We discuss any specific concerns at the booking stage and can recommend the right departure if you'd prefer a less-crowded shoulder-season trip.
Australian passport holders need: UK ETA (£10, online, valid 2 years) for the London leg, EU ETIAS (€7, online, valid 3 years) for Schengen countries when it goes live in 2026. No physical visa needed for any country on this itinerary. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned return — we check this at booking.
