For most coach driving positions, you'll need a Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence, a current driver authority from Queensland Transport, and a clean driving record. The specific licence class depends on the vehicles you'd be operating. We can discuss exact requirements when you enquire.
Formal tourism qualifications are helpful but not essential. We value strong local knowledge, engaging communication skills, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing Queensland's stories. A Certificate III or IV in Tourism/Guiding is a plus, as is a current First Aid certificate.
Hours vary by role and tour schedule. Day tour drivers and guides typically start early morning and finish late afternoon. Multi-day tours involve overnight stays. Office/operations roles are generally Monday–Friday during business hours. Weekend and public holiday work is common for on-tour roles.
Yes, all new team members receive an induction covering safety procedures, company policies, and customer service standards. Tour guides receive destination-specific briefings. Drivers are familiarised with our fleet and regular routes.
