On this tour we guide you into the Valley of the Winds or through Walpa Gorge, where the walls close in and the light plays across the rock, and we handle the transfers and park pass. What is Kata Tjuta?
Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, is a group of 36 huge rounded domes in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, about an hour’s drive from Uluru. Like Uluru, it is deeply sacred to the Anangu Traditional Owners.
How hard is the Valley of the Winds walk?
The full Valley of the Winds circuit is a moderate walk over uneven, rocky ground with some steep sections; the shorter Walpa Gorge walk is easier. We match the walk to your group, and start early as sections close on very hot days.
Can it be combined with Uluru?
