Is the Yeppoon Lagoon free?

Yes — entry is free. There’s the main lagoon pool plus the Kraken zero-depth water playground for little ones, with shaded areas, barbecues and parkland alongside.

Why swim at the lagoon instead of the beach?

It’s calm, patrolled and stinger-safe year-round — handy in the warmer months when marine stingers are about, and ideal for young children. The beach and foreshore are right there too.
