What's Confirmed

The 2027 Festival at a Glance

Toowoomba Regional Council has locked in the 78th Carnival of Flowers for Friday 17 September to Monday 4 October 2027 — the same three-feature-weekend shape as recent years, closing over the King's Birthday long weekend. The free floral displays in Queens Park and Laurel Bank Park will run daily for the full festival, as they always do.

*The Grand Central Floral Parade has traditionally rolled on the opening Saturday, which points to 18 September 2027 — treat that as expected rather than confirmed until the official program lands. Full event programming (FEASTival, the Weekend Table, ticketed experiences) is typically announced closer to the festival on the official festival website.

What to Lock In Now

1. Accommodation

Feature-weekend rooms in Toowoomba sell out months ahead, every single year. If 2027 is your Carnival, secure the room the moment your dates firm up — everything else can follow. Our accommodation guide covers where.

2. Your Weekend Choice

Parade weekend for spectacle, the middle weekend for food, the closing long weekend for family time — the pattern holds year to year. The best-time guide explains the trade-offs.

3. Coach Seats

Our 2027 Carnival departures will open once the official program lands. Register your interest below and you'll hear before general release — parade-day coaches fill first.
