Dedicated craft beer and spirits tour — 3–4 venues, guided tastings, behind-the-scenes brewery access. Return transport included.
View Brewery Tour →Taste your way through the Gold Coast's most exciting culinary destinations — seven unforgettable stops from sunrise markets to sunset cocktails.
The Gold Coast has a food scene that most visitors barely scratch the surface of. Beyond the tourist-strip restaurants and the chain cafes lining the esplanade, there's a genuinely exciting community of local producers, chefs, artisan makers, and market farmers who are doing extraordinary things with Queensland's remarkable subtropical produce.
This full-day guided tour takes you to where locals actually eat. From buzzing morning market stalls to sunset cocktails above the Pacific, you'll taste your way through seven distinct Gold Coast culinary experiences — each one curated by our guide for quality, authenticity, and the stories behind the food.
Everything is included in your $185 per person price — all tastings, the craft brewery flight, the fine dining tasting courses, the artisan chocolate, and the sunset cocktails. Luxury air-conditioned transport between each venue means no logistics to worry about. You just show up hungry.
"The Gold Coast's food scene in 2026 deserves to be explored properly — not just from a beachfront menu, but from the markets, the kitchens, and the people who make it extraordinary."
Every Gold Coast Foodie Tour follows a curated day of culinary discovery — from the first coffee and market bread at 9am to the last sunset cocktail over the Pacific.
Start your day at your guide's selected Gold Coast farmers market — the coast's morning markets are where the region's best producers sell direct. Meet the farmers and artisan makers, sample freshly baked sourdough with local cultured butter, taste tropical fruit that was picked this morning, and pick up the first flat white of the day from one of the market's outstanding specialty roasters.
Burleigh Heads is the Gold Coast's most culinarily credible suburb — a community of chefs, food photographers and food obsessives who've turned this beachside strip into something genuinely special. Your guide's selected café delivers an extraordinary brunch: avocado with slow-roasted tomato, poached eggs from a local farm, and the best flat white on the coast, with the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop.
Mid-tour, the guide brings the group to one of the Gold Coast's excellent independent craft breweries for a guided tasting paddle. Taste four to six beers — the core range plus whatever seasonal or limited-release cans are on today — with expert commentary on each. Behind-the-scenes access to the brewhouse is included at most brewery stops.
Main Beach remains the Gold Coast's finest address for fresh seafood. Your guide takes the group to a venue with direct relationships to local fishing boats — expect Moreton Bay bugs, Queensland mud crab, and ocean-fresh fish prepared simply to let the produce shine. This is Queensland seafood at its absolute best, not the menu-laminated tourist version.
A premium boutique chocolatier crafts entirely by hand using single-origin cacao, native Australian botanicals, and Queensland honey. Your guide leads a tasting of six to eight handmade truffles alongside a brief masterclass in what distinguishes artisan chocolate from commercial product. This stop consistently draws the loudest reactions of the tour.
Broadbeach's restaurant precinct has developed a restaurant offering that genuinely holds its own nationally. Your guide takes you to one of the district's most celebrated kitchens for a multi-course tasting menu — modern Australian cooking with Asian-influenced preparations, showcasing the region's best seasonal produce in a setting that feels like a genuine occasion.
The grand finale. Your guide takes the group to a rooftop bar as the Gold Coast sun descends below the Pacific horizon. The bar's cocktail team has prepared a selection of expertly crafted drinks inspired by Queensland's subtropical produce — lemon myrtle gin sours, finger lime spritz, macadamia-washed whisky — accompanied by gourmet canapés as the light turns golden and the city begins to sparkle below. This is the Gold Coast at its most dazzling.
No hidden costs. No surprise extras. Your $185 per person covers everything listed below from 9am to 7:30pm.
A full day from first coffee to final cocktail. Every minute accounted for, nothing rushed.
Your guide collects the group from the central Gold Coast meeting point. Brief welcome and introduction to the day's venues, your guide's background, and what to expect at each stop.
Explore the market with your guide — artisan breads, local cheeses, tropical fruits, specialty coffee, and the producers who make them. Tastings of selected market products included.
Seated brunch experience at the guide's selected café. Full brunch including eggs, avocado, toast, and specialty coffee. Time to explore the Burleigh Heads strip afterwards if desired.
Brewhouse tour and guided tasting paddle of 4–6 beers. Expert commentary on styles, ingredients and the brewing process. Beer at own expense beyond the tasting paddle.
Seafood tasting at a coastal venue with direct relationships to Gold Coast fishing boats. Moreton Bay bugs, fish, and Queensland favourites prepared simply and beautifully.
Six to eight handcrafted truffle tastings with a brief masterclass on single-origin cacao and native botanicals from the chocolatier. Time to purchase selections to take home (own expense).
Multi-course tasting menu at a celebrated Broadbeach restaurant featuring modern Australian cuisine. Wine pairings included. Time to savour each course without rushing.
Two cocktails per person, accompanied by gourmet canapés, with panoramic Pacific views as the sun sets. This is the tour's signature moment — take your time and soak it in.
Your guide returns the group to the central Gold Coast meeting point. Return to accommodation via private transport or enjoy the evening in the Broadbeach precinct.

South East Queensland eats well year-round: strawberries and citrus through winter, mangoes, stone fruit and finger limes through summer, and Moreton Bay bugs and mud crab whenever the boats bring them in. Venues and menus rotate with the seasons — no two months of the tour taste quite the same.
With a maximum of 16 guests, the tour suits solo foodies, couples and small friend groups equally well. Shared tables at several stops mean you'll finish the day knowing your fellow travellers — or book privately for a group of your own.
