Skip the parking, the petrol and the herding of overtired kids. We handle the door-to-door transport to every major Gold Coast theme park, so your day is about the rides — not the logistics. Small groups and private charters, with a local operator since 1974.
The Gold Coast is the theme park capital of Australia, and for good reason — nowhere else in the country packs this many world-class parks into one stretch of coast. But anyone who has tried to do them with a family knows the day can come undone before it begins: working out parking, navigating the M1, wrangling car seats, and making sure nobody has to be the designated non-drinker or the one who misses out because they are behind the wheel.
Our theme park transfers take all of that off your plate. We pick you up from your accommodation, deliver you to the gates, and have you collected at an agreed time — so the only thing you need to think about is which ride to hit first. It is the simplest, least stressful way to do the parks, whether you are a family of four or a group of forty.
We have run transport across the Gold Coast since 1974, which means we know the parks, the traffic, and how to time a day so you arrive fresh and leave without a scramble.
We can get you to any of the Coast's big parks, and help you plan which to pair across a multi-day visit.
Hollywood on the Gold Coast — big-ticket roller coasters, movie-themed rides, stunt shows and a daily parade of DC and Looney Tunes characters. The thrill-seekers' favourite.
A marine park and ride park in one, with dolphins, rays, penguins and sharks alongside roller coasters and a strong marine rescue and research program.
Home to some of the country's biggest thrill rides, plus Tiger Island, a native wildlife precinct and a dedicated kids' world — the most variety under one gate.
Dreamworld's water park next door, packed with slides, a giant tipping bucket and a kids' lagoon — an easy add-on to a Dreamworld day.
One of the largest water parks in the country, with everything from gentle wave pools to near-vertical drop slides. The go-to on a hot Gold Coast day.
We can also transfer to Paradise Country, Outback Spectacular and the smaller attractions — just tell us what your group wants to see.
It is deliberately simple. You tell us the park, the date and how many of you are travelling; we pick you up from your hotel, apartment or holiday house anywhere on the Gold Coast and drop you at the entrance; and we collect you at a time that suits, whether that is at closing or earlier if the little ones have had enough.
For multi-day visitors we can run transfers across several parks over several days, building a schedule around park opening hours and the days that tend to be quieter. Larger groups travel together in a private charter, so the birthday party, the school group or the extended family all arrive — and leave — as one.
Because the day is shaped around your group, we quote each booking rather than publishing a fixed price. We can do transport only, or build a fuller day around it.
Driving yourself is doable, but it adds friction to a day that should be carefree. Park-and-ride costs add up, the parks sit several kilometres apart and well away from most accommodation, and at the end of a long day in the sun the last thing anyone wants is to find the car and tackle the M1 home. Rideshare can leave a big family or group split across multiple cars, juggling pickups and surge pricing.
A transfer solves all of it in one move: everyone travels together, there is no parking to find, no driver missing out, and a known, pre-arranged ride home. For groups it is almost always the cheaper and far calmer option once you add up the cars, the fuel and the parking.
Theme parks are made for celebrating, and a private charter turns the transport into part of the occasion. We regularly handle children's birthday groups, school and youth groups, sporting clubs, and big extended-family days, carrying everyone together in one vehicle with door-to-door pickup.
For visitors staying a few days, multi-park passes make sense, and we can build the transfers to match — Movie World one day, a water park on the hottest day, Dreamworld and WhiteWater World together since they share a site. Tell us how long you are here and which parks are on the list, and we will map out the run.
If your group is chasing the biggest thrills, Movie World and Dreamworld are the heavy hitters, with the tallest, fastest coasters. Sea World is the best all-rounder for mixed groups — marine animals for the younger kids, coasters for the older ones, and shows throughout the day. The water parks, Wet'n'Wild and WhiteWater World, are the answer to a hot day and a hit with every age.
For families with very young children, Dreamworld's kids' precincts and Sea World's gentler attractions tend to work best, while teens usually gravitate to Movie World. We are happy to talk through the options when you book so you point the day at the right gate.
A little planning makes a big difference. The parks are busiest during Queensland and interstate school holidays and on weekends, so midweek visits outside the holidays are calmer. Opening hours vary by park and season, and some attractions and shows run to a timetable, so it is worth checking the park's own website before you go.
We recommend buying your tickets and any multi-park passes ahead of time, directly from the parks or their authorised sellers — it is usually cheaper than the gate and saves queueing. We will time your pickup so you arrive near opening, when the popular rides have the shortest lines.
We want to be clear about what a transfer is. We provide the transport: comfortable, reliable, door-to-door travel between your accommodation and the parks, with a local driver. We do not sell theme park entry tickets, and we do not quote ticket prices — those are bought from the parks themselves, which also means you get their current deals and passes.
That honesty matters to us. You always know exactly what you are paying us for — the transport and the convenience — and you buy your park admission direct, at the best available price. If you would like a hand working out which passes suit your group, just ask and we will point you in the right direction.
Booking a transfer starts with a quick conversation. Tell us the park or parks, the date, how many of you are travelling and where you are staying, and we will quote the transport to suit. Pickup is door-to-door across all Gold Coast precincts, larger groups travel by private charter, and cancellation is free up to 48 hours before. Call 0409 661 342 or email contact@cooeetours.com.au to get started.
The single biggest difference between a great theme park day and a frustrating one is timing. We recommend arriving as the gates open, when the car parks are empty and the headline rides have little or no wait, then working through the most popular attractions early before the day-trip crowds build through late morning. By mid-afternoon many families are flagging and queues ease again, which can be a good window for a second run on the favourites.
Peak periods — Queensland and interstate school holidays, public holidays and weekends — are predictably the busiest, while a midweek day outside the holidays can feel like a different park entirely. We factor all of this into your pickup time, so you are at the gate when it counts rather than stuck in the worst of the traffic on the M1.
If you are visiting more than one park, we will help you sequence the days so you are never fighting the biggest crowds, and so the travel between your accommodation and each park is as smooth as possible.
Family travel comes with gear, and our transfers are set up for it. There is room for prams, day packs, eskies and all the paraphernalia a family day demands, and you are not trying to fold a stroller into the boot of a rideshare. Everyone travels together in air-conditioned comfort, which matters at the end of a long, hot day when tempers can fray.
If anyone in your group has mobility needs or you are travelling with very young children, let us know when you book. We will talk through the right vehicle and the easiest pickup and drop-off points at each park, and make sure the day works for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. The parks themselves are generally well set up for accessibility, and we can advise on what to expect at the gate.
It is tempting to cram every park into a short visit, but the families who enjoy the Gold Coast most rarely do. Theme park days are long and tiring, especially for younger children, and back-to-back parks can turn a holiday into an endurance test. We often suggest alternating park days with gentler ones — a morning at the beach, a relaxed hinterland drive, or simply a slow start by the pool.
Because we handle the transport across your whole stay, it is easy to build that rhythm in. We can transfer you to a park one day and to the coast or the rainforest the next, so the big-ticket days land harder for being spaced out. A well-paced trip beats a rushed one every time.
Wet'n'Wild and WhiteWater World are the answer to a hot Gold Coast day, but they reward a little preparation. Opening hours are more seasonal than the ride parks — they run longest over summer and the warmer months — so it is worth checking before you go. The Queensland sun is fierce, so rashies, hats, reef-friendly sunscreen and plenty of water are essentials, and a change of dry clothes for the trip home is welcome.
Our transfers make the water parks especially easy, because nobody wants to drive home wet and sunburnt at the end of the day. Bring your towels and gear; we will get you there and back in comfort, and you can collapse rather than concentrate on the road.
We have been moving people around the Gold Coast since 1974. That experience shows up in the small things: drivers who know the quickest way to each gate, pickups timed to the rhythm of the parks, and the reliability of dealing with one established local operator for your whole trip rather than a roster of strangers.
For families especially, that continuity is worth a lot. The same trusted operator can handle your airport arrival, your park days, your coast and hinterland outings and your departure, all booked in one conversation. It is the difference between a holiday you have to manage and one you simply enjoy.
The Gold Coast's reputation as Australia's theme-park capital was built over half a century. Sea World, the oldest of the big parks, opened on the Spit in the early 1970s; Dreamworld followed at Coomera at the start of the 1980s; Wet'n'Wild arrived mid-decade; and Warner Bros. Movie World opened its Hollywood-themed gates at Oxenford in 1991, cementing the region's status. WhiteWater World joined Dreamworld's site in 2006. Today the parks are run by two major operators and draw millions of visitors a year, a concentration of world-class attractions you simply won't find anywhere else in the country.
That history matters to your day in a practical sense: the parks sit in a cluster across the northern Gold Coast — Movie World and Wet'n'Wild at Oxenford, Dreamworld and WhiteWater World at Coomera, Sea World back toward Main Beach — close enough to plan together but spread across enough ground that getting between them, and back to your accommodation, is its own small logistics exercise. Handing that to a local operator who has watched the parks grow up is the easiest way to make sense of it.
There is far more to the parks than the rides, and the extras are often what families remember. Movie World runs stunt shows, character parades and meet-and-greets with DC superheroes and Looney Tunes favourites; Sea World layers presentations and its marine animals over the rollercoasters; and Dreamworld combines big thrills with Tiger Island and a native-wildlife precinct. Across the year the parks lean into seasonal events too — school-holiday programs, Halloween-themed evenings, and Christmas celebrations that transform the grounds — so the experience shifts depending on when you visit.
We keep an eye on what's running and when, and we'll factor show timetables and seasonal hours into your pickup so you're not missing the parade or arriving as a park winds down. If there's a particular event your group has come for, tell us and we'll build the day around it.
Most of our theme-park guests are staying somewhere on the Gold Coast — Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Burleigh, Coolangatta or the northern enclaves — and we collect from all of them. We can also collect from further afield, including Brisbane and the airport corridor, though the extra travel time is worth weighing up; we'll talk through whether it's better to transfer for the day or base yourself closer to the parks. Either way, the point of a transfer is that you never touch a steering wheel, a parking meter or a map.
For visitors without a car, this solves the awkward truth that the parks are not within easy walking distance of most accommodation and are spread several kilometres apart. One booking covers the lot — there and back, every park, every day of your stay — with a local driver who knows the quickest route to each gate.
In the busiest periods, popular pickup times and larger vehicles fill up fast — especially during Queensland and interstate school holidays and around major events at the parks. Giving us as much notice as you can means we can match the right vehicle to your group and the right pickup time to each park's opening, and lock in your spot on the days everyone wants to travel. A quick call early in your planning saves a scramble later, and lets us help you sequence multi-park visits before the calendar fills.
Do you include theme park entry tickets?
No — we provide the transport, and you buy park entry directly from the theme parks or their authorised sellers, which is usually the cheapest option and gives you their current passes and deals. We are always happy to advise on which passes might suit your group.
Which theme parks can you take us to?
All of the major Gold Coast parks — Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and Wet'n'Wild — plus attractions like Paradise Country and Outback Spectacular. Just tell us where your group wants to go.
Can you do more than one park in a trip?
Yes. For multi-day visitors we build transfers across several parks over several days, timed around opening hours and the quieter days. Dreamworld and WhiteWater World share a site, so they pair naturally; the others we schedule to suit.
Can you cater for groups and birthday parties?
Absolutely. Private charters are ideal for children's birthday groups, school and club groups, and extended families, carrying everyone together with door-to-door pickup so no one is split across multiple cars.
How does pickup and drop-off work?
We collect you from your Gold Coast accommodation, drop you at the park entrance, and pick you up again at an agreed time — whether that is at closing or earlier if the kids have had enough. It is all arranged in advance.
How do we book and what does it cost?
Because every transfer is shaped to the group — the parks, the dates, the numbers and your accommodation — we quote each booking individually rather than listing a fixed price. Call 0409 661 342 or email contact@cooeetours.com.au and we will come back with options. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before.
