"The Sunshine Coast is best experienced slowly — not rushed through a checklist, but savoured. That's exactly how we design every tour we run."

The Sunshine Coast is one of Queensland's most beautiful and accessible holiday regions — a 100-kilometre ribbon of golden beaches, lush hinterland villages and world-class wildlife experiences stretching from Caloundra to Noosa. It's also one of the most rewarding destinations to explore on a guided tour, especially when someone else handles the driving, parking and logistics.

Our Sunshine Coast day tours are thoughtfully designed for seniors and over-50 travellers who value comfort, great company and a pace that never feels rushed. Small groups, experienced local guides, modern air-conditioned coaches, accessible venues and meals included on full-day tours — all you need to bring is your camera, a sun hat and a sense of curiosity.

What to Expect on Your Tour

Six ways our senior tours differ from everything else on the market.

🚐 Comfortable, Easy-Access Transport

Modern air-conditioned coaches with handrails, wide-entrance steps and comfortable seating with genuine legroom. Large panoramic windows ensure you don't miss a single view. We collect you directly from your Sunshine Coast accommodation — Caloundra to Noosa — so there are no taxis, no car parks and no rushing.

🗣️ Passionate Local Guides

Our guides are Sunshine Coast locals who genuinely love the region and love sharing it. They ensure everyone is comfortable, point out wildlife you'd otherwise miss, carry shopping bags back to the coach without being asked, and know the best accessible bathrooms at every stop on the route.

⏰ Relaxed Pace — Never Rushed

The best travel experiences come without a clock ticking. Our tours move at a genuinely comfortable pace — proper sit-down meals, plenty of time at each destination and regular rest stops. There is no race to be back at the coach. All walks are entirely optional and on well-maintained, sealed surfaces.

💰 All-Inclusive — No Surprises

Your tour price covers absolutely everything: transport, guide, all entry fees, morning tea and a proper sit-down lunch on full-day tours, plus bottled water on the coach. The only additional spending is personal shopping or optional extras. No hidden costs ever.

♿ Designed for Accessibility

We select attractions with excellent accessibility — sealed paths, well-maintained accessible bathrooms, shaded seating, step-free entrances and wheelchair access where available. Australia Zoo, Eumundi Markets, Maleny Botanic Gardens and the Ginger Factory all provide excellent accessible experiences. Let us know your specific requirements when booking.

👫 Small, Friendly Groups

With just 12–20 guests per tour, you'll receive genuine personal attention, make lasting friendships over morning tea, and never feel like a number in a crowd. Small groups mean quicker boarding, more flexibility at each stop, and the kind of warm social atmosphere that has led many of our guests to book again and again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the tours suitable for people with limited mobility?
Yes. All our tours use coaches with handrails and wide, easy-access steps. We specifically select attractions with excellent accessibility facilities — sealed and flat paths, accessible bathrooms, shaded seating and wheelchair access. Australia Zoo, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, Eumundi Markets and the Maleny Botanic Gardens all provide superb accessible experiences. All walks are entirely optional — you're always welcome to relax at a café, in a garden or on the coach. Please let us know about any specific requirements when booking and we'll make every effort to accommodate you comfortably.
What exactly is included in the tour price?
Full-day tours include: modern air-conditioned coach transport, hotel pick-up and drop-off from Sunshine Coast accommodation (Caloundra to Noosa), an experienced and enthusiastic local guide, all entry fees to attractions, morning tea and a proper sit-down lunch. Half-day tours include transport, guide, entry fees and morning tea. We also provide bottled water on the coach. There are absolutely no hidden costs — the price you see is the price you pay.
Where do you pick up from?
We offer hotel and accommodation pick-up from throughout the Sunshine Coast between Caloundra and Noosa, including Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland, Maroochydore, Bli Bli, Coolum, Peregian Beach, Sunshine Beach, Noosaville and Tewantin. Specific pick-up times and meeting points are confirmed when you book. Brisbane city pick-ups are available on selected tours — ask when booking if this is relevant to your travel plans.
How large are the tour groups?
We deliberately keep groups small — typically 12 to 20 guests maximum. This ensures your guide can give genuine personal attention, the pace stays relaxed and flexible, and boarding and alighting at each stop is quick and stress-free. Small groups also create a much warmer social atmosphere — most guests end the day having made real new friends.
What should I bring on a day tour?
Comfortable walking shoes with good grip (flat soles preferred), a wide-brim sun hat, SPF 50+ sunscreen, a light jacket for hinterland tours (Maleny and Montville can be 3–5°C cooler than the coast), a reusable water bottle and your camera or phone. We provide bottled water on the coach. A small amount of cash is handy for market purchases or personal shopping, though the majority of market stalls and cafés accept card payments.
Can I book for a group, club outing or retirement village excursion?
Absolutely — and we love group bookings. We regularly host Probus clubs, U3A outings, retirement village excursions, church groups, social clubs and RSL day trips. For groups with specific interests, we can customise itineraries, adjust timing, arrange multiple coaches for larger groups, and organise morning tea at the venue of your choice. Call us directly on 0409 661 342 to discuss your group's needs and we'll create something perfect.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Tours run rain or shine — the Sunshine Coast is genuinely beautiful in all weather, and most of our featured stops are partly or fully undercover. The Crocoseum at Australia Zoo, the Ginger Factory, Eumundi Markets (undercover precinct), the Maleny Botanic Gardens indoor areas and the hinterland cafés all provide excellent shelter. In the rare event of genuinely severe weather, we may adjust the itinerary to include more undercover stops. We'll always keep you informed and comfortable throughout the day.
