The Sunshine Coast is one of Queensland's most beautiful and accessible holiday regions — a 100-kilometre ribbon of golden beaches, lush hinterland villages and world-class wildlife experiences stretching from Caloundra in the south to Noosa in the north. It's also one of the most rewarding destinations to explore on a guided tour, especially when someone else handles the driving, the parking and the logistics.

Our Sunshine Coast day tours are thoughtfully designed for seniors and over-50 travellers who value comfort, great company and a pace that never feels rushed. With small groups, experienced local guides, air-conditioned coaches, and morning tea and lunch included on full-day tours, all you need to bring is your camera, a sun hat and a sense of curiosity.

Passionate Local Guides

Our guides are Sunshine Coast locals who genuinely love sharing the region's natural beauty, wildlife and hidden stories. Relaxed Pace — No Rushing

We understand that the best travel experiences come without a clock ticking. Our tours move at a genuinely comfortable pace with regular rest stops, proper sit-down meal breaks, and plenty of time at each destination. All walks are optional and on well-maintained, sealed paths.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the tours suitable for people with limited mobility?

Yes. All our tours use coaches with handrails and easy access. We choose attractions with excellent facilities and sealed paths. Wheelchair access is available at Australia Zoo, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, Eumundi Markets and most hinterland venues. All walks are optional — you're always welcome to relax at a café or on the coach if you prefer. Let us know about any specific requirements when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

What is included in the tour price?

Full-day tours include air-conditioned coach transport, hotel pick-up and drop-off (Caloundra to Noosa), an experienced local guide, all entry fees, morning tea and lunch. Half-day tours include transport, guide, entry fees and morning tea. There are no hidden costs — the price you see is the price you pay.

Where do you pick up from?

We offer hotel pick-up from accommodation between Caloundra and Noosa, including Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland, Coolum, Peregian Beach, Sunshine Beach, Noosaville and Tewantin. Specific pick-up times and meeting points are confirmed when you book. Brisbane pick-ups are available on selected tours.

How large are the tour groups?

We keep groups small — typically 12 to 20 guests — to ensure a personal, friendly experience. Your guide can give individual attention, the pace stays relaxed, and getting on and off the coach is quick and easy.

What should I bring on a day tour?

Comfortable walking shoes with good grip, a sun hat, sunscreen, a light jacket for hinterland tours (it can be a few degrees cooler in the mountains), a reusable water bottle, and your camera. We provide bottled water on the coach. A small amount of cash is handy for market purchases, though most stalls accept cards.

Can I book for a group or club outing?

Absolutely. We regularly host social clubs, retirement village groups, Probus clubs and U3A outings. We can customise itineraries to suit your group's interests and can accommodate groups of various sizes. Contact us to discuss a tailored tour for your group.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Tours run rain or shine — the Sunshine Coast is beautiful in all weather, and many of our stops (Australia Zoo's Crocoseum, the Ginger Factory, hinterland cafés) are undercover. In the rare event of severe weather, we may adjust the itinerary to include more indoor stops. We'll keep you informed and comfortable throughout.
